About Me
I am a Chartered Psychologist & Associate Fellow with the British Psychological Society (BPS), a Registered Occupational Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

I work with my senior HR leaders to make their organisations better places to work, so they can attract and retain the right talent to deliver their strategic objectives, and so that their employees have a positive lived experience at work. I achieve this by helping my clients to better understand the factors affecting employee attraction, motivation and retention, and to understand how current organisational policies, practices, and strategies may affect these. I also work with HR leaders during periods of change or transformation, focusing on the People implications of change. This includes helping leaders to understand their 'future workforce', and the people implications of the changing world of work, including technological advancements (such as AI and automation).

My evidence-based, pragmatic approach enables me to support HR leaders in making well-informed strategic and policy decisions that ‘Put People First’, by drawing on relevant research, organisational People data, and stakeholder input, whilst also taking account of business needs. By adopting a systems perspective in my work, this enables me to help my clients to examine the root causes of their People challenges, and to explore the different enablers and blockers for successfully addressing these challenges.

My inquisitive mind and continuous learning mindset makes me comfortable with uncertainty and adaptable to changing requirements. No project is ever the same, so I am highly experienced at quickly getting up to speed on new projects, and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver success.

For over 20 years, I have worked with complex, high-stakes organisations, mostly in Defence and security. I typically work in fast-paced environments, under tight deadlines, frequently managing several projects concurrently, managing project teams comprising internal team members, external suppliers, and multiple stakeholders. My excellent interpersonal and networking skills have allowed me to build long-standing relationships with my suppliers, partners, and clients. Please see my Testimonials page, for some examples of feedback I have received from clients, colleagues, and research partners.
